              Mission Statement 

The Autism Society of North Carolina is committed to providing support and promoting opportunities which enhance the lives of individuals within the autism spectrum and their families. 

             Vision Statement

 The Autism Society of North Carolina strives to create a community where people within the autism spectrum and their families receive respect, services, and support based on individual differences, needs, and preferences.

Purpose:       

 The Cabarrus County Chapter supports the Mission, Vision and Values of the Autism Society of North Carolina by working to promote awareness and advocate for the general welfare of all those affected by Autism and their families.  In addition, we wish to promote the education of parents, professionals, and caregivers of those with autism.

 Membership:           

Any person who is interested in the purpose and goals of the Autism Society is welcome to attend our local group meetings and participate in any or all scheduled activities.  For voting purposes, a member of the local unit is defined as a current member of the Autism Society of North Carolina who lives in Cabarrus County. 

Today there is no cure for autism, But Together we can make a difference.
