James P. Garrison Autism Education Grant Awards & Dinner

Autism Society of North Carolina - Cabarrus County Chapter

On 1/11/07, The Cabarrus County Chapter of the Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC-CCC) gave out the 1st awards and grants to the educators who requested items to help teach the children through-out the autism spectrum.

These grants were made possible through the generous donations, made in memory of the late James P. Garrison.  Mr. Garrison’s daughter, Collette Pendergrass, is a member of the ASNC-CCC and has two beautiful children on the spectrum.

The James P. Garrison Autism Education Grant is intended to enhance the educational experience of students with autism in Cabarrus County and to reward the efforts of those who dare to dream of our children’s potential.
